If Hong Kong loses with communist China, Poland will also face it!

The Chinese Communist Party is trying to impose a new national security law on Hong Kong, which in practice means the abolition of Hong Kong’s autonomy. “What is happening today in Hong Kong should be the most important topic in the Polish media. If Hong Kong loses its fight for freedom with Chinese communists, the same may also happen to Poland”, appeals editor Hanna Shen, Taiwan-based correspondent of Against The Tide (Idź Pod Prąd) TV.

During the annual session of the communist Chinese parliament there was a discussion and attempt to pass the new law on national security. The new law prohibits separatism, terrorism, subversive activity against central authorities, foreign interference, and “any other act seriously damaging national security.” In practice, this means lifting Hong Kong’s autonomy.

Thousands of Hongkongers took to the streets last weekend to protest against the new regulations of the Chinese Communist Party. During the demonstration, a total of 193 people were detained on charges of illegal gathering, riots, and possession of dangerous tools. 30 people among those detained are minors. The youngest is 12 years old. During the protests, there were clashes with police who used tear gas and water cannons against Hongkongers.

Hongkongers are ready to fight communist China. “Hongkongers will NEVER SURRENDER. We will fight until we all die. The idea is bulletproof. Give us freedom or give us death. We definitely NEED your help to keep our home safe and beautiful. #StandwithHonKong #HongKong #SOS”, one of the Hong Kong protesters wrote on his Twitter.

The introduction of the new law – and bypassing local authority – violates the “one country, two systems” principle, which says that Hong Kong is to have autonomy in domestic policy for 50 years since the merger with China in 1997.

The Hong Kong Bar Association has stated that the Chinese Parliament has no authority to enact national security laws in Hong Kong by bypassing the Legislative Council. According to the Association, the Basic Law of Hong Kong states that China cannot interfere in Hong Kong’s legislative processes.

Taiwan has assured Hong Kong about its support, but at the same time, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen has said that Chinese activities in Hong Kong may force Taiwan to revoke the special status of the city. “We hope the situation in Hong Kong does not get to this stage and will pay close attention to developments, and take necessary corresponding measures in a timely way,” said Tsai Ing-wen.

Politicians from around the world are also showing their support to Hong Kong protesters and criticizing the conduct of communist China. The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia issued a joint statement on Friday expressing “deep concern” in Beijing’s efforts to limit Hong Kong’s autonomy. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also issued a similar statement on Friday.

In the program Against The Tide LIVE Hanna Shen, a TV’s Taiwan-based correspondent, spoke about the will of Hong Kong to fight for freedom:

“Love of freedom is very strong in Hong Kong. Jamie Lee, a billionaire who was born in China, fled to Hong Kong as a child and has British citizenship, was asked why he would never leave Hong Kong, although he had a lot of money and could lead a peaceful life in the UK. The billionaire replied that money is useless when there is no freedom? Chinese communists say Hongkongers only have a body and no soul. Hongkongers are proving that they are fighting for the survival of Hong Kong’s soul!”

Hanna Shen appealed to the Polish media to speak out about Hongkongers’ fight for freedom. She indicated that, unfortunately, the communist narrative is being promoted, including in statements made by a political scientist and sinologist, professor at the University of Warsaw:

“Prof. Bogdan Góralczyk praises Xi Jinping’s unprecedented anti-corruption campaign and the fact that the leader makes China’s citizens feel good. Do Uyghurs feel “good”, working in a concentration camp, does a woman subjected to [forced] abortion or sterilization feel good? Does a member of Falun Gong who is cut live for sale, feel good?! This is what the Polish authority in the field of sinology says in public media! Permission to proclaim such outrageous theses shows that Poland is still a COMMUNIST country.

The current situation in Hong Kong should be the most important topic in the Polish media. They should speak about what is happening in the first front of the struggle against communism because it can also come to us. And it can come to us in such pure form as it is in China if the Hongkongers lose [their fight for freedom]. We must be well informed because an informed Pole is a conscious Pole who will make [conscious] choices and cannot be manipulated! ”

“If it were possible to co-exist with the communist Chinese and do business with them, Hong Kong would have been able to do it. And with communism, you can either have an iron curtain or a conflict. Communists seek to take over the Free World and Hong Kong is an example of this!” – summed up pastor Paweł Chojecki, editor-in-chief of the Against The Tide TV.

Top ten chemist: “Evolutionists can’t explain evolution.”

– I started looking at the results, the data there and I was appalled from the claims that are made. They are clueless. Nobody [none of them scientists] knows how life began. NOBODY KNOWS. And if someone says they know, that’s a bunch of nonsense – Says James Tour, Prof. of Chemistry, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Rice University Texas, in an exclusive interview for Against the Tide TV.

Prof. James Tour was named one of the top 10 most referenced chemists over the past decade, and top 50 Most Influential Scientists in the World. He is also an author and/or co-author of 650 scientific publications and over 200 patents. Prof. Tour has spoken at every major university in the USA is a member of the National Academy of Inventors launched seven companies. But as he stated in his testimony on One for Israel: “More than any of that, what means the most to me, is that I’m a Jew who believes that Jesus is the Messiah.”

“Not only do I claim that Jesus Christ is the son of God; he means everything to me! I love the Son of God, Jesus Christ. His name is all over the bible. … To me it is a very real thing I love Jesus Christ with all my heart.”

 

Wait, what? A top scientist who believes in God? And it is not just some “God.” He acknowledges Christianity, Jesus, the Messiah, the Bible, even miracles. Surely that’s not very scientific, one might say. Aren’t scientists suppose to be atheists or at least agnostics in order to be “objective”? We’ve asked professor Tour that same question.

“(one might ask) Where is the science in that? There is a lot of historical proof in that. We don’t prove that Caesar Augustus lived, by putting something under a microscope. We look at historical proofs. The bible is full of historical proofs. There is more written on the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, than any historical event of that era. These types of proofs are good enough to put people in jail.”

Stating that scientist should be atheists or at least agnostics, demonstrates a lack of knowledge of the history of science and is a very simplistic world view:

“It’s a very sophomoric elementary view. Those people that would say that, know very little about scientific history. Huge amounts of scientific insight have come through scientists that claimed to be lovers of God – over and over again. Because when we believe that God has set up this universe and that he has set the natural laws in their order, it causes us to want to seek these things all the more.”

Louis Pasteur, Isaac Newton, James C. Maxwell to name but a few, and here is an even longer list of Scientists who believe that God created the universe. On the entrance gates to the famous laboratory in Cambridge University, where James Watson and Francis Crick have discovered the structure of the DNA, we find a Latin inscription of Psalm 111:2 “Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them”. “How do you want to compare this? By what standards? Number of publications, H Index, number of papers in science or nature. What is the spectrum that you would like to look at that would make a scientist, to show you that a scientist can publish some very good science and be a believer in Jesus Christ?“

Ok fine, but what about the Darwinian evolution and the origins of life. Surely someone understands it and can explain. Why would these scientists try so hard to convince everyone in the world that it’s true, if they themselves don’t understand it?

Before we proceed let’s clarify definitions. Prof. Tour explains that the word evolution is a misused term, meaning different things to different people.

“Evolution is a very slippery term. It’s been used for many different things. We certainly see evolution in the laboratory when you are looking at small changes, we all see these kinds of things. But no, we are talking about an evolution of a complex system. How does one system change into another? Not how within a system do you get small changes, but details of how does one system change into another.”

Prof. Tour is calling on the scientists to tell the truth, that we don’t have proofs to the Darwinian explanation of the origins of life and that it’s all a bunch of fairy tales.

“And it’s all storytelling, there is no evidence in this. And even the stories become very flimsy and weak. Biology has been reduced to a bunch of storytelling. (…) How did it happen? One small change at a time [they say]. Well show me evidence for that. We are not talking about small perturbations in an existing system, that we see all the time. We are talking about gross changes the vast majority of changes. Concerted lines of changes happening all at once at the same system, in order to get evolution of a complex system. (…) Those who are novices think that it’s figured out and those who are experts, behind closed doors will admit, there is so much that we just flat out don’t know. But to the public, they project as if they really know this sort of thing. That’s the problem with it and I’m calling them out on it.”

Prof. Stephen C. Meyer Discovery Institute: Darwinism has held science back

Does the data and research we have from sciences, support Darwinian evolution theory of the origins of life or is causing scientists to become even more skeptical?

“Those that end up looking at the data of the origins of life end up really questioning it. It was only about five years ago, that I’ve really started looking at the research of the origins of life, to see what is really known about it? How did life start? I started looking at the results, the data there and I was appalled by the claims that are made. They are clueless! Nobody (none of them scientists) knows how life began. NOBODY KNOWS! And if someone says they know, that’s a bunch of nonsense.”

Prof. Tour gives a brief description of the Darwinian evolution theory and then blows it out of the water:

“They would claim that there were bunch of molecules in a pond, some lightning strikes, and some amino acids formed into basic building blocks, those got together and formed cells. And those cells got together and formed slithering organisms, that came out of the pond. THAT IS UTTER NONSENSE! There is no evidence for that. There is very little understanding for that. And we can go into the specifics as much and as detailed as you would like.”

The “creationists bat” is widely used by proponents of Darwinian Evolution theory, to defame, libel, and smear the good reputation of scientists who dare to question their religion. Prof. Tour full interview on the evolution vs creation topic.

“I don’t teach creationism in my University. None of my classes are based on a statement that there is a creationist approach. All I do is look at the data that comes from science on the origins of life and evolution of a complex system and say I don’t understand it from a molecular perspective, so explain it to me. And it cannot be explained, I’m talking about the best people out there. Can’t explain it. Even the evolution of a complex system and the origins of life. It cannot be explained.”

“If you start saying I don’t understand, explain it to me, they will right away lump you in with a camp that is called creationists and will say, “Oh you are just a religious fanatic”. And I say “No, I just don’t understand. Is there anything in science that you don’t understand? So you ask a question.” I’m asking a question. Explain it to me! Does that make me a creationist because I don’t understand? When a person can’t answer your question, that tells you that you are not dealing with science but with somebody’s religion.”

“They disqualify us, they make it hard for people like us to even get into a forum to ask a question. They may try to cut funding, exclude you from certain societies and promotions. … When they start to try to stifle something contrary to what they have been putting out, that tells you we are not dealing with science anymore.”

The information enigma.

Evolutionists admit they don’t know behind closed doors, but will never admit to it publicly.

“When I’m behind closed doors and ask people [high-level scientists] where does life come from, do you understand where it came from? Every time they say no. They say no! They don’t understand. Because they know exactly what my arguments are. And over and over again, yet they don’t understand. They just say “well here we are, so it must have formed”. Great, but that’s not a scientific explanation of the origins of life. (…) We have no idea how it formed and they will always agree with me behind closed doors. But when we get into an open forum or one that is filmed,  they won’t say it so openly. Because then they open themselves up for an attack.”

As final thoughts prof. Tour addressed future scientists with the following statement:

“All I’m saying is science has many many problems and there are many things we don’t know. So to say that science has somehow disproved the Bible, again that is sophomoric, that is novice, it is ridiculous to make such a claim. I have never seen a discord between a scientific fact and something written in the Bible. And that’s why I base my life on the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. There is so much historical evidence for that. The Bible has not been discounted. You can believe it.”

Tomáš Zdechovský, MEP: We will not allow Russia or China to attack Czech people. We are united like never before.

3 EU40 MEPs meet with 100 young activists of the NGO ONE (created by Bono).

In an exclusive interview for Polish television Idź Pod Prąd – Against the Tide TV, Tomáš Zdechovský, MEP, EPP, talks about the recent foiled Russian assassination plots against Prague’s mayor Zdeněk Hřib and Prague’s 6th district mayor Ondřej Kolář and the ongoing pandemic caused by the Chinese coronavirus from Wuhan.

We’ve asked Mr. Zdechovský for his response to Russia’s claims, that the recent Russian assassination plots in Czech Republic are just fake news.

“It’s not fake news. If you have access to security information you know it’s not fake news. We have enough evidence. We are prepared to fight with these agents who are coming here to kill. We are a democratic country and we will never accept this behavior from Russia or China and for their killers to come to Czech and do this dirty work.”

Mr. Zdechovský also explained that the effects of these attempts to silence their politicians have been the opposite of what the Russians were expecting and claims that it will backfire on them even further.

“In the future this will create a really not pleasant diplomatic situation for the Russia in Czech Republic. We want to investigate these things. At this moment we are united like never before.”

Mr. Zdechovský talked in details about his views on the current pandemic caused by the Chinese coronavirus from Wuhan.

“From the beginning we didn’t have access to Chinese data. Why did China withheld this data? … From our view it’s really necessary to have a response from Chinese authority why it started so and who is responsible for this pandemia. Why didn’t the Chinese give the world all this information. Why WHO lied about corona virus and told us in January that this virus can not pass from one human to other.”

On Jan 20th 2020, Czech’s Senate President Jaroslav Kubera who was set to visit Taiwan, has felt ill and passed away following a visit to the Chinese Embassy and threatening letters from them, also encouraged by a pro Chinese Czech President Milos Zeman’s office.

The response in Europe has been very weak according to Mr. Zdechovský. A recent European report on the pandemic has been censored by the Chinese.

“Europe is 500 milion people and it can’t be afraid to ask China for data and answers to our questions. … The EU as an organization has huge impact and it should investigate this.”

He also explained how Czech were so successful in driving socialist mentality out of their country.

It is important to tell the socialists and communist directly that we will not accept your practices in our government. … Socialists are a big danger to the society and we will never let them back into our country.

What’s happening with the Visegrad V4 project and the wider Three Seas initiative and how come we haven’t seen any significant progress on that front?

The V4 group needs one strong leader but none of the current members are really strong leaders who can unite the V4 and be a platform for communication with other countries. I think everybody from V4 are playing some games. Czech are playing games with Slovak, Hungary with Serbia, Poland has excellent connection to Germany. … The connection between Warsaw-Prague, Prague-Budapest, Budapest-Bratislava is not very well. It’s still just on paper. For a strong partnership you need to do more.

Finally Mr. Zdechovský sent a strong message to communists from China and Russia.

We know that Russia is supporting fake news and we are fighting that, but we will never accept someone who will come to Czech republic to kill politicians.
And this is a strong message we want to send to Russians. We will never ever accept your interference into Czech domestic Politics.

Taiwan helps Poland with the pandemic. And the Law and Justice government insult Taiwan, calling it part of communist China!

On April 22, a plane from Polish Airlines LOT flew to Taipei for the medical equipment that Poland had ordered. Previously, Taiwan helped Poland by providing half a million face masks for free. Although Taiwan helps us fight the virus that came from communist China, Taiwan is still listed on the official LOT website as part of the People’s Republic of China.

Statement of the New Covenant Church in Lublin and Against the Tide TV on the scandalous treatment of Taiwan by LOT Polish Airlines

We are ashamed and sad to acknowledge that at a time when the whole world is being affected by the aggressive actions of the Communist Party of China, which have led to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Polish government continues to praise Communist China and denies the Taiwanese people the right to independence, allowing the website of the governmental airline to refer for independent Taiwan as part of the People’s Republic of China.

On April 22, the LOT Polish Airlines plane flew to Taipei to collect the ordered medical equipment. Previously, Taiwan helped Poland by providing half a million masks for free. Although Taiwan helps us fight the virus from communist China, Taiwan is still listed as part of the People’s Republic of China on the official LOT website.

The Church of the New Covenant in Lublin and the environment of the Against the Tide TV, which is run by the New Covenant in Lublin, strongly oppose the policy of insulting Taiwan and Free Taiwanese people by the Polish government, referring to the communist heritage.

Authorities and residents of independent Taiwan have repeatedly helped Poland, e.g. by donating protective materials to combat the pandemic of the Chinese Communist Party’s virus. April 22, for the first time in history, a plane from Polish governmental LOT airlines landed in Taipei. Unfortunately, the actions of the Government of the Law and Justice party cast a shadow on this historic event. The Party officially supports the “one China” policy pursued by the Beijing regime.

The government led by Prime Minister Morawiecki is proud of the 1949’ agreement of Mao Zedong and Bolesław Bierut and the fact that communist Poland was one of the first countries in the world to recognize the criminal regime of Mao Zedong. 

Here is the official statement of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to the attacks of the communist newspaper “Global Times” on Against the Tide TV:

“We would like to kindly inform you that in connection with the appearance on 30/10/2018 in the Chinese media space, articles and comments about the Youtube channel Idź Pod Prąd TV (Eng. Against the Tide TV) – the Polish Embassy in Beijing has published an announcement for whom it may concern, which is as follows: 

1. Poland was one of the countries which were the first to acknowledge PRC in October 1949 and has been guided by the principle of “one China” ever since.

2. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland does not comment on the activities of Youtube users, for in Poland there is a constitutional principle of freedom of expression.

Note that the communist regime of the PRC denies people the fundamental freedom of religion, it persecutes Christians, followers of the Falun Gong movement, Muslim Uyghurs, and Tibetan Buddhists on a massive scale. In turn, independent Taiwan guarantees respect for civil rights, and in particular the right to profess the religion of its choice.

As a church and a community around the Christian television, we strongly protest against discrimination of Taiwan by the Polish government, which at the same time praises and supports the murderous regime of the communists from Beijing. We urge the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the head of the Law and Justice party Jaroslaw Kaczyński to immediately ensure that the scandalous content disappears from the website of Polish airlines PLL LOT.

The embassy of communist China attacks Poles!

For months we have been observing the increasingly violent attacks of the communist Chinese embassy in Poland on the freedom and liberty of Polish citizens. Independent journalism in Poland does not appeal to Communist Party of China.

In October 2018, in response to the campaign of the environment of Against the Tide TV #SayYesToTaiwan and #SayNoToCommunistChina, “Global Times“, the newspaper of the Communist Party of China, in its article demanded that the Polish authorities put a stop to the activities of Against the Tide TV in Poland! After the publication of that article, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland issued a subservient statement to Chinese communists: “Poland has established diplomatic relations with China as early as 1949 and has since supported the policy of one China, which is opposed to separatist movements.”

In September 2019, a Chinese embassy militia in Warsaw and its agents tried to bribe and then physically attacked a picket organized by the TV environment of Against the Tide TV on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. The picket was a reaction to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of communist China and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and communist Poland. The event was documented in the video clip:

On Sunday, December 8, 2019, the car of one of the pastors of the New Covenant Church in Lublin was attacked.

Against the Tide TV, which is run by the New Covenant Church in Lublin, was the main Polish medium supporting Hongkongers fighting with the communist regime of China. On the same day, representatives of the TV took part in the picket “Free Hong Kong, free world! Poland supports Hongkongers!” under the Sigismund’s Column in Warsaw.

When in March we began collecting signatures on a petition to US President Donald Trump to hold the Chinese government accountable for the spread of the coronavirus, there was a hacker attack on this petition. Then, China’s ambassador Liu Guangyuan conducted an unprecedented attack on free, anti-communist media in Poland via Onet.pl, one of the main news portals in Poland. Offensive words and threats appeared in it. Although the ambassador did not mention us by name, it is obvious that it is Against the Tide TV that exposes the actions of communist China most.

We call on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to react immediately to put a stop to the attacks of the communist Chinese embassy in Poland. We also call on the Interior Minister and Administration to take decisive steps to clarify the criminal activities of Chinese communists in Poland and to punish them.

Exclusive interview with Larry Klayman – Founder of Freedom Watch USA, about their class-action lawsuit against the Communist Chinese Party for #CCPVirus Covid19 pandemic reparations.

The US government is trying to rescue the economy by giving out handouts at the expense of the tax payer, according to Klayman. “The American people just dolled up two trillion dollars and the democrats want to use this to try to socialize the country, to turn us into quasi-socialist-communist dictatorship.” China should have to pay for this damage not the American people, he added.

“China has no immunity for this. They have billions of dollars of assets in the USA. So we’ve brought a class action and so far we have 540 plaintiffs, growing every single day”, says Klayman. “China should have to pay. China is very rich. Why do the American people, why do the Polish people, why do the Italian people, why do the people in India — I’m getting a lot of contact from India — have to pay for this tragedy?”

“We are doing something that the American Justice Department won’t do for political reasons. The Chinese have President Trump by the short hairs. They have backed him into a corner. Because we have allowed — not under President Trump but under prior presidents— our industry to go to China.”

“Chinese people are good people. I have some employed for me. Chinese Americans are very patriotic. Thirty percent of the people who joined up on our suit are Asian Americans. But the Chinese government, the Communist Chinese Government is Evil. Much like the Soviet Union was evil. And Polish people can appreciate that.”

A Church in Poland launches a lawsuit against the CCP

“I believe there will be a lot of people that copy what we do and I welcome that. I’m happy to work with them. I’ve been communicating with lawyers in India, in Sri-Lanka, people contacted me from Nigeria. All over the world, they say “we like what you are doing Larry and we want to do the same”. And I’m telling them ‘I want to work with you, bring some lawyers to us’.”

“I have also filed a lawsuit against American Intelligence agencies, the NSA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the CIA the Director of National Intelligence, and the FBI. Because I believe that our own government knows the cause”, says Klayman.

“The USA has done mass surveillance on its people. At freedom watch I got two injunctions, that is to cease and desist, to the Obama Deep State intelligence agencies. Because they were surveying illegally, hundreds of millions of Americans without what we call a probable cause that any crime was being committed; or that there was any communication with terrorist or terrorist interest. The American government has the capabilities, I’m sure that they knew from the beginning of what happened in China. That this was likely from a bio-weapons lab and that it’s being suppressed.”

Klayman suspects that the intelligence agencies have misinformed the president or even outright deceived him. “These same intelligence agencies, which are run by loyalists internally to Obama, Clintons, and the democrats, previously have issued fraudulent warrants. You may remember the Steele Dossier, Fusion GPS to try and remove the president from office” says Klayman. “I believe they withheld the information from him. They created this crisis to try and weaken his presidency. Already the Democrats have tried to remove him twice through phony investigations as well as an impeachment proceeding.”

“I filed a lawsuit to get documentation because I believe that these intelligence agencies and the FBI knew that China was responsible through the bio-weapons lab in Wuhan, for the release of this virus.”

Klayman is not worried about China’s likelihood of avoiding being served the way they typically do, to show disrespect to the American legal system. “If we will get a jury verdict, it won’t be hard to collect. China has billions of dollars of assets in American banks, in American investments, in the stock market, and real estate. We simply attach that. This is not something where they can run away and not pay. The test is going to be to find a federal judge that will allow this case to go forward to a jury trial. That is ordinary people will make a decision.” according to Klayman.

“So I filled this case in Texas because Texas tends to be more conservative, I believe a judge will let this case go forward. Let a jury decide after we take what lawyers call discovery, that is get information and evidence and I’m confident that we can win this case. But even if we don’t, we are setting an example and we are sending a message to the people of the USA and the world, that China must pay for the damage.”

“We are sending a message to President Trump. It’s not enough to say that this is a Chinese Virus and two days later, and I criticized him for this, he is praising the president of China Xi, saying he has great respect for China. Well, you know what, I have great respect for Chinese people. But I have no respect for the communist government. And no respect is a diplomatic way of putting it. It’s an evil dictatorship and it’s disguised as semi-capitalist but in essence, it still remains communist just like Putin in Russia.”

We’ve got it! Against the Tide TV has collected 100,000 signatures on a petition to President Donald Trump, calling for compensation from communist China for spreading the coronavirus. Now the petition will go to the US President’s desk. The President has 60 days to respond to the petition.

On March 16th, together with our correspondent in Taiwan, Hanna Shen, we started a petition on the White House website, with only 30 days to collect the minimum required 100,000 signatures. However, thank God – it was done a week before the required date! Here is the content of the petition:

“Petition to President Donald Trump to hold China’s government accountable for the coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic has spread around the world because of denial and deceit on the side of the communist government of China.

From the very beginning, the Communist Party of China has been lying about the disease, lowering the numbers and locking up doctors who spoke about the outbreak. After two months, CCP admitted to having a problem, yet refused the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s offers of help. Moreover, China is taking action against those who call it the Wuhan virus and is blaming the USA for the virus.

The US National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien was right saying that China’s cover-up of the virus “cost the world community two months”.

China’s communist government must be held accountable for the cover-up of the outbreak and for impending global recession.

Polish media remained silent. The free world helped

We informed all of Polish media about the petition, but only the websites of Super Express and Tygodnik Solidarność mentioned the campaign. Other media remained silent on the initiative of Against the Tide TV and November 11 Movement.

However, support came from all over the Free World. Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, responded to Against the Tide TV’s letter on Petition, and wrote: “May God protect you against the virus from China.”

The silence of Polish politicians and editorial staff may be due to the wide influence that unfortunately communist China developed in Poland. An example of that is the expansion of the multilateral – strategic partnership with the PRC – made by President Andrzej Duda. Today, President Duda continues following the talking points of the Chinese Communist Party narrative, thanking its Secretary Xi Jinping for preventing the spread of the pandemic throughout the world, and also promoting the Chinese tool for censorship and surveillance of citizens, the TikTok app. No wonder that Polish media, not wanting to get in Law and Justice government and the President’s bad books, were consistently silent about the Polish petition.

However, this did not prevent free people from succeeding and collecting the required 100,000 signatures a week before the deadline set by the White House. This is how pastor Paweł Chojecki, editor-in-chief of Against the Tide TV, summarized the struggle for signatures: “Our efforts are focused on teamwork: the idea of ​​Hanna Shen, our editorial work, then the work of thousands of viewers of Against the Tide TV, who promoted the petition online. In addition to collecting signatures, we were able to contact and establish cooperation with many like minded people and communities abroad. Once again, Poles could also see God’s blessing over the efforts of Christians who were politically involved. I hope this will be an incentive for many.”

Eric Trump, son of the President of the United States Donald Trump, expressed his support for Against the Tide TV and November 11 Movement – the only circles in Poland opposing the decisions of the organizers of the Chopin Competition who called representatives of Taiwan citizens of communist China. Eric Trump wrote: “The Trumps are with you! Taiwan is NOT China.” The son of the US President added: “May God protect you against the virus from China.”

In a statement issued, Against the Tide TV and November 11 Movement wrote that they “to express their outrage at the scandalous decision of the organizers of the International Chopin Piano Competition to present Taiwanese pianists as coming from communist China. We would also like to express solidarity and compassion for the Taiwanese people who have been so scandalously treated and insulted by the Polish authorities, which in the majority are from allegedly conservative and anti-communist Law and Justice political party. The competition is organized, among others, by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Government of Law and Justice.”

Discriminated in Poland. Appreciated by the son of the US President

The statement was sent to Polish media and politicians, but so far no one has referred to it or informed the public opinion about the campaign. Against the Tide TV, which often experiences discrimination in Poland because it is run by biblical Protestants, has received support from across the ocean. Eric Trump, vice president of The Trump Organization, son of the President of the United States, reacted vividly to the statement made by the TV and November 11 Movement. In a letter addressed to us, he wrote: “The Trumps are with you! Taiwan is NOT China. ”

In the program Against the Tide LIVE, pastor Paweł Chojecki, editor-in-chief of the TV, explained why it is so important to recognize Taiwan’s sovereignty: “Today it is very important to stress it before the entire Free World: China is ruled illegally by communist genocide and criminals. Taiwan, however, is an independent state, it must be emphasized!”

In further correspondence, Trump wrote: “May God protect you against the virus from China“, referring to a petition sent by Against the Tide TV and by the TV’s correspondent in Taiwan, Hanna Shen, in which we call to hold China responsible for the spread of the coronavirus. The petition has been launched on the White House website. For President Donald Trump to react to the petition, we need to collect 100,000 signatures up to April 15. So far, over 98,000 people from all over the world have already signed it. All the leading media in Taiwan, TVs in the US and Japan, as well as the media in Hong Kong spoke about the petition. The Polish petition has also been supported by American politicians and lawyers from the USA and India. In Poland, only two websites have mentioned it – Super Express and Tygodnik Solidarność. Polish Television under the rule of Law and Justice has remained silent so far.
