„The Bible as History.” The ninth conference of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin.

The ninth conference of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute will be held in Lublin on June 9, 2023. The title of the convention is „The Bible as History.”

There is a revival of sorts happening in churches everywhere. This revival is not a typical evangelistic revival, but a resurgence in the importance of knowing the Bible. Many books, videos, and classroom experiences are highlighting the practical importance of Understanding the Bible. During the conference, we will fly through the story of the Bible and demonstrate how the original authors applied the narrative of the Bible to their ministry in order to do the same today.
The lectures will be given by Professor Buz McNutt.

Professor Buz McNutt is an American born in Washington in 1953. He is the retired pastor of the First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach, Florida, and former professor of Biblical Studies for Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary. He has taught biblical studies as well as New Testament Greek, Biblical Hebrew and hermeneutics at several colleges, where his responsibilities have also included planting churches, evangelizing in orphanages in China and Chad, and working on Bible translations in Papua New Guinea.

The Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin is the first project of its kind in our country. The main goal of the Institute is to integrate biblical Christians from Ukraine and Poland to work together on evangelistic and church projects, as well as to exchange experiences of working for Jesus in the Ukrainian and Polish peoples, learn from each other and pray together for the future of our nations. The lectures are given by pastors, professors and Christian leaders from various evangelical churches and organizations.

The first lectures of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin were held on August 20, 2022. To date, eight conventions of the Institute have taken place:

  • „Discipline in the Church”.
  • „How to read and study the Bible independently?”
